The 3 day fruit diet has many adaptations, some of which remain primarily and inclusively fruit only. Other 3 day fruits diet suggestions allow the person more options. For myself, I feel that having some extra options and not having to only adhere to very strict, hard and fast rules makes it easier for individuals who have specific health concerns or a different metabolism.
Fruit Flush Diet
As mentioned in previous posts, the original 3-day fruit flush diet is a great diet that includes an unlimited amount of fresh, preferably organic fruit; plus an evening meal that includes a lean protein shake and salad. Day one of this diet also includes a protein shake for breakfast, along with unlimited quantities of fresh fruit throughout the day. This truly health-building 3-day fruit diet plan has an important intention which is to take the heavy burden of digestion off of your body and give it a chance to rest, detoxify from poisons and toxins that have built up. Remember toxins aren’t just spewed out from some factory or chemical plant and go nowhere. Those toxins get into the foods you eat, the liquids you drink, the air you breathe, and other parts of the environment.
The 3-day fruit flush diet sticks to a tight dietary regimen that is excellent, as mentioned. But there might be those of you who have a difficult time with that specific fruit diet, but you still desire some of the positive benefits that a fruits diet can offer. If that is the case for you, then picking and choosing or even designing your own optional menu based on what you can eat is acceptable, I think. My feeling about it is that as long as you really do the necessary groundwork through research, through understanding how your own body reacts to food, plus you are aware of the importance of the food you’re eating you’ll do a whole lot better. Just remember to stick to whole grains, whole fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, and then any of the fruits diet options you choose will work well.
The Fruits and Vegetables Diet verses Anything Goes
I found that with my own health concerns once I eliminated:
conventionally grown foods
processed foods
most meats
…the pounds just shed away, and energy increased naturally. It’s amazing how quickly the body heals once you begin putting the right things into it.
From all I’ve seen, average shoppers don’t have a clue about the toxins or genetically modified foods lurking in the processed foods and meat they buy, and that includes conventionally grown fruits and vegetables. I would say, once you get back to more healthy sources, the body will naturally pick up strength, feel renewed, and healing and weight loss follow shortly afterwards. My final thought, do the research, know your body, stick to whole and natural, and the fruits diet you settle on will accomplish exactly what you want it to.
